Sew a cozy mid-1960s girls' robe from a genuine vintage pattern. This is a faithful reproduction of McCall's 8005 (1965), with every original marking preserved, delivered as an instant digital download.
The design: a front-buttoned four-section robe with long sleeves cut in one with the robe fronts and backs, in three versions — sleeves and collar bound with purchased bias binding; ruffles of embroidered eyelet edging in the neckline and sleeve facing seams; or large rick-rack braid trim on the sleeves and above the waistline. The robe fronts and collar may be interfaced.
