Sew the beloved Betsy rag doll — and her wardrobe — from a genuine vintage pattern. This is a faithful reproduction of McCall's 2097 (1956), with every original marking preserved, delivered as an instant digital download.
The design: a 16" rag-doll version of Betsy, designed soft and pliable so she bends, sits and walks with help. The pattern includes the doll, lingerie (chemise and petticoat) and four fashion-wise costumes — exact doll-size copies of ready-to-wear Betsy dresses, including a dress and jacket and a jumper. Make the doll from flesh-colored broadcloth, muslin or sateen; stuff with batting; embroider her features in outline, blanket, satin and straight stitches; and make her wig of brown four-ply worsted.
Size: one size — 16" doll.
