Sew classic 1940s neckties from a genuine wartime pattern. This is a faithful printed paper reproduction of Simplicity 4816 (1943) — printed at true scale and shipped to your door.
The design: men's neckties in three styles. The bow tie is cut on the straight grain, interlined and faced, with square or pointed ends. The bias tie comes in two lengths — 45" (cut in three sections to save fabric) and 47" (cut in two) — lined or unlined. The interlining pattern is included, along with instructions for cutting a cardboard pressing board to keep the tie crisp. Perfect for dress remnants — exactly as thrifty 1943 intended.
Size: one size, two lengths (45" and 47").
