Sew a show-stopping 1940s play set from a genuine vintage pattern. This is a faithful printed paper reproduction of Simplicity 1970 (1947) — every detail from the original pattern pieces preserved, printed at true scale and shipped to your door.
The design: a Junior Misses' and Misses' play suit and skirt. The one-shouldered bodice is fitted with front underarm darts, with a knot and gathers at the left shoulder, finished with a lower-edge band and side-button closing. The side-buttoning shorts are pressed into a front crease, fitted with darts and joined to a waistband. The gathered skirt features a front yoke and center-back opening, with tie ends extending from the waistband into a back bow. Style II has a contrasting skirt.
Sizing note: the original ran 11–18; additional sizes have been carefully added so the range now covers 11–24.
Choose your size: 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 18, 20, 22 or 24 (see the size chart image for full measurements).
